El Toro is not mistreated, but fights to the death in every match. The matadors have to expose themselves to the threat of the horns; they have to get close to use their own weapons. I’m not saying the outcome is in doubt, but i have twice seen El Toro leave the ring under his own power. When it is clear he is done, he is dispatched quickly.
