I know people have beef with all things AI, but this is absolutely something Apple should be leaning into.
I work with and talk to a lot of devs and the general consensus that I'm hearing is that working with Apple's release policies and development tools is a burden that they will do whatever it takes to work around today. A lot of devs are using a completely separate IDE to write their code, and Xcode is a glorified console and run button.
