And they shredded every treaty they ever made with the Indigenous nations. What they did to those people wasnβt just criminal β it was satanic. They broke the Fort Laramie Treaty and seized the Black Hills, sacred to the Lakota Sioux, before carving the faces of their βfounding fathersβ into the rock itself β a monument to conquest on ground that was never theirs.

By calling for even more centralisation, including an end to unanimity in key policy areas, von der Leyen signalled her intent to double down on the very policies that have weakened Europe. What she offered was not renewal, but more of the same β an ever more militarised, dependent and authoritarian Union.

Even then, insurers can argue that a denial is ineligible for an external review.Only after the internal appeals with the insurer are exhausted is an external review an option for some denials. Requests have to be filed within a certain time frame, depending on whether theyβre filed under state or federal laws. That distinction can also determine if insurance plans get to pick the company that does the external review.
